ASH 2021 poster focuses on uptake of radioimmunotherapy for lymphoma

20 December 2021

The Health Policy Partnership presented a poster at the annual meeting of the American Society of Hematology (ASH), which took place on 11–14 December 2021 in Atlanta, Georgia. The event could also be attended virtually.

Radioimmunotherapy, a type of radioligand therapy, is a targeted approach to cancer care. Focusing on UK and US health systems, the poster stated that the use of approved radioimmunotherapies for people with lymphoma is low. It also outlines which barriers may be impacting uptake.

The poster was presented at the conference by Dr Ajay Gopal (pictured below; University of Washington, Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center and Seattle Cancer Care Alliance, Seattle, Washington, US), who is a member of our International Expert Advisory Group.
